RP brainstorming?

Choco had a good idea in trying to get the RP part of the community going, but as his idea is incomplete and the ideas I have also are only fragments, I propose we we start tossing ideas up in the air and see what gets grabbed at.

So, whataya say?

Anyone can start an RP as long as they have 50+ post (once we have more members) So, if you have a good idea, go ahead and post it in the RPG section and wait for approval. Like i told Jerry, once its approved people can apply to be in there.. Since it would be your RP you get to approve whether they can join or not (have an application/describe character too etc)

XD I was tryen to get the current members thoughts and Ideas, I only have fragmented ideas and I figured why dont we all put our heads together and piece one together as a team.

Well, if anyone has any ideas, please feel free to pitch in. for now I guess the question is FF related, Fantasy in general, Or other?

XD I mean, what does everyone want this first one to be.. to help the brainstomin process.. after genre we can pick topic, then story.

nice, ive had quite a few cross over RPs myself... it was good, but dear lord the chaos @ @ everyone was convinced that thier chras couldnt be touched by anyone elses cause theyd all be the heros of like 30 different stories and were certain that the rules that made the other chars didnt apply to thiers. Like for instance, Samus Aran vs Master Chief from halo.. fans of both sides argued to hell and back why one or the other would win.. but noone took into acount that samuses suit, though still power armor, only boosts a reletively normal human, whearas a spartan even without thier suit is stronge enough to tear the lid off a tank bare handed. So they have not only thier own inhuman strength backed by a power armor than amplifies thier strengh several times over... in adition to weighing an average of 1000 pounds.

-shrugs- Drawing isnt nesacary, you can find charater pics that already exist or even just use pics of people or drawings you find online that fit the type of char you wanna make. Well.. thats how one of the better RP forums ive been on did it. They would generally find and actor or actress and claim them for a char they wanna make or once in a while theyd find a fitting anime charry pic. I only do all my own avatar work so the character flows a little better, since from avater to the last detail of the profile came from one person, its easier to RP and I suck at acting, so my charrys tend to be very similar to me in personality.

well i personallty think we should start with a general fantasy story to build up a solid group of RPer's (real word?). Then we can move on but thats just my 2 cents

I was hinking the same, just gotta get the A-OK from LadyE then decide on a topic

XD still. It's always polite to wait for the OK from the person in charge, even if you know they arent likely to refuse, makes them feel better. i'll probably just list everything I can think of main topic wise and ask everyone do the same, then everyone vote on which among the list sounds most fun.

I have several. but again, i'm not gonna mention them till we find out what kind were gonna be making.. dont wanna put down an idea hat gets liked yet gets denied, not that I think any of my ideas would be liked all that much.

Ehhh, I think Shannon's right. But I dont know man, I don't know how the whole system operates xD I would join but like I said, no bueno at this shit xD.

XD i'm not a pro.. just a vet.. ive only made 2 complete RP storylines before.. and one didnt have much of a background to it.. the other had background.. but it ound up busted cause I made the chars have stats and classes in an attempt to prevent god moding.. sadly, one of the classes I made turned out to be wicked sick OP. The char I had made under that class was as strong as what I wanted to be the strongest class, but could hit like 5 times more

We could use the classes of FF. If you can make the Char work under those circumstances i have a storyline idea...... basically it will work in kin to the original crystal based FF'S with all chars connecting to the crystal
